Terms of Service for PickyPlate

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using PickyPlate ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

PickyPlate is a recipe discovery app that uses artificial intelligence to generate personalized recipes based on your dietary preferences, restrictions, and taste preferences. The App allows you to:

• Discover recipes through a swipe-based interface
• Save and organize favorite recipes
• Create meal plans
• Generate grocery lists
• Share meal plans with family members (Family plans)

3. Account Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account using Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code
• Use automated systems to access the App without permission

5. AI-Generated Content

Recipes and images in PickyPlate are generated using artificial intelligence. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated recipes are suggestions and may not be perfect
• You should use your own judgment when preparing food
• We are not responsible for the accuracy of nutritional information
• You should verify ingredients if you have severe allergies
• AI-generated images are approximations and may not exactly represent the final dish

7. Intellectual Property

• The App, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Conspiracy Den LLC
• AI-generated recipes may be used for your personal, non-commercial use
• You may not redistribute or sell AI-generated content commercially

8. Subscription and Payments

PickyPlate offers various subscription tiers with different features:

• Subscription fees are billed through Apple's App Store
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
• Refunds are handled according to Apple's refund policies
• Prices may change with notice
• You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID settings

9. Family Plans

If you subscribe to a Family plan:

• You may create up to 6 profiles within your account
• You are responsible for all activity on family member profiles
• Family features are subject to the subscription tier's specific capabilities

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the past 12 months

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Conspiracy Den LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the App ceases immediately
• You may request deletion of your data
• Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
